Nasmith, Mary Ramsey Ellen, 1875-1963
Daughter of Matthew Gray Nasmith and Alice Cecilia (née Forbes). See biography on page 27 of "History of New Zealand Women Writers' Society 1932-1982". Married to Douglas Blair, and lived at `Tulliallan', 26 Hurahura Rd, Kaiti, Gisborne, from 1905 to about 1953. Resident in Wairoa by 1955 and in Mangakino in the same year. Composed music and painted in watercolours. Took photograph of De Havilland DH9 aircraft on Gisborne Beach (ca 1921)
