Biography
Painter: Studied at Christ's College, then the Glasgow School of Art and the Slade School of Art. WWII official artist, long-time local artist. Iinitially served as Lieutenant with the New Zealand Scottish Regiment before being appointed official War Artist with the New Zealand Third Division in New Caledonia. After the war taught at Gisborne Girls High School until his retirement.
