Chisel made for use as a carving implement. Metal blade lashed to a bone handle with plaited flax fibre twine, this has been coiled around the handle and the join. The handle has a groove where the blade inserts. The blade is approximately 1 third the length of the handle. The bone is of natural colouration with some darker patches. The handle is cylindrical, rounded at one end and tapers in slightly down the length toward the blade.
