One piece bone fish hook. The original catalogue card states that the piece may have been exposed to fire at some stage. The shanks are roughly the same length on either side of the elbow. Outer and inner barb at one end of the shank. A stylised head is carved on the snood of the fish hook. There is a single groove on the outer edge of the elbow. Some pitting on one side near the elbow. Natural colouration with a golden brown patina, there are some darker brown sections near the snood and half way down the shank on the same side.
