Greenstone adze. Mottled stone with traces of the auhunga variety of greenstone in it. Chipped in the centre of the blade and slightly fractured at butt. Distinctive toki as all of the edges are rounded and the tool is roughly oval in shape rather than rectangular and it is slightly concave on the reverse and obverse. Obvious transverse markings with marks from the binding to the haft.
