Kahu Huruhuru / feather cloak. Flax fibre backing in natural colouration. Horizontal double-pair twining. Black and white feathers attached in chequerboard pattern, three patches of green feathers in the second row from the top instead of black like the feathers in the other dark squares. Feathers worn off at the top to form edge and brown natural flax threads are twisted on top to form a border. Top frayed at both ends where attachments were.
