Kahu Kiwi / Kiwi feather cloak. Made using European woollen fibre with kiwi feathers in 68 rows of whatu ahorua (double-pair twining). These rows run vertically and the fastening at one end means the feathers point upwards. Fringe of tassels along one side. Hole at top edge near the corner. Almost half of the feathers are missing and the majority of the tassels have broken off. The woollen thread ties remain.
