Kahu/cloak. The central section is kiwi feather, the majority of these feathers remain. The lower border is a band of taaniko in triangular patterning of black, red and white thread. The two side edges each have a vertical band of dark kereru feathers. The upper band is plaited natural uncoloured fibre with two natural fibre ties. There is wear in the centre of the top and side edges. The lower left hand edge (particularly in the centre) is where most feathers are missing.
