Korowai with huruhuru side borders
Muka kaupapa (foundation), and mostly muka hukahuka (tassels). Some of the original hukahuka have fallen off but have been replaced with waxed cord. The huruhuru (feathers); white feathers are from the poho (chest) of the kererū, iridescent blue are tūī, and orange are kākā. 4 aho poka (shaping rows); first row from the top (all measurements are taken from top edge) is 270mm down, 400mm down, 570mm down, and 720mm down. Whatu aho pātahi (double paired twine). The two string handles aren't from the original kahu nor are they made from muka, and have been added in later.
