Epa. Internal whare post. One of two epa deposited at the museum from the same whare. Rectangular overall. Red-brown colouration. Carved on the obverse side. The head of the figure is orientated horizontally, the chin points to the left hand side. It has two paua eye inlays. The figure is standing on an animistic manaia which has a fish tail. The panel has a rectangular protrusion at the base.
