Glass plate negative

Description
Originally thought to be Sheep dipping, Barker's, Whataupoko, 1895.This is what is recorded in Crawford's own catalogue.
It appears that WFC has got confused when writting up the catalogue and the image was actually taken at Scott's farm at Ruangarehu. This has been considered as an article in the Poverty Bay Herald on 2 February 1895, accuartely describes the scene and mentions WFC taking a photograph.
Maker and role
W F Crawford (b.1844, d.1915): Photographer
