Description
Case: Wood display case with loose (unfixed) glass lid. Rectangular, long and narrow. Mounted on the front side of the case is a brass plaque which reads: "FROM THE COLLECTION OF / C. R. McLERNON". The case originally housed 82 geological, mineral and fossil specimens, which sat unsecured upon paper at the base of the case. Additionally, two sheets of paper were laid on the base of the case, with handwritten numbers ranging from 1 to 82 upon which the specimens sat.
