Description
Wood case with glass lid and metal brackets containing mineral and geological specimens. There are twelve compartments within the case. Within each compartment are different rocks, nested in white cotton wool. There are white paper labels hand written in black ink with the digits 1 through to 12 affixed to the outside of the glass. In compartment number 11 are rock specimens that are pink and mauve in colour. On one of the pink rocks, hand written in blue ink is: "Soap / stone / causes / slides in / mine".
