Duff type 1A of Nelson-d'Urville Island metasomatized argillite with heavily flaked working edge. Highly polished. Chipped across blade, only one corner remains. Angled roughly trapezoid shaped butt. Chipped on lateral sides and edges near poll. Dark black/grey stone. Some white foreign matter on some areas of the stone, appears to be paint.
