Roughly flaked chert adze. Unfinished. Grey stone. The right hand side, on the side with the acession number, has been chipped on a deeper angle than the left hand side, revealing the smoother stone below. There are lightly coloured small swirls marks on the surface, these marks may have been made by aquatic worms. The accession number is written in a concave, grooved out section near the blade. The butt and blade appear to be about the same width.
