Greywacke adze. Grey. Was polished but some of the polished surface is gone and is slightly rougher and lightly pitted. Chipped at butt/poll end. This was possibly a longer piece that has broken at the poll end and continued to have been used as a shorter piece. The poll end has been ground and the edges rounded. The lateral edges are rounded. Chipped near one corner of the blade, more noticeable on the side with the accession number.
