Clear brown glass jar with screw type neck and metal domed screw lid. Impressed into the top of the lid in raised lettering is: "MENTHOLATUM". Impressed into the bottom of the bottle in raised lettering is: "MENTHOLATUM / REG / TRADE / MARK". Affixed to the side of the jar is a paper label printed in black: "TRADE MARK / MENTHOLATUM / REGISTERED / TO RELIEVE AND SOOTH HEADACHE..." and other information about remedial qualities, directions for use and manufacturers information. There is white cream in the bottom quarter of the jar.
