Found in Ureweras in 1959. Tahanga basalt adze. Grey stone. Poll end rough and chipped. Blade end has chipped away, large chips on both corners of the blade (more visible on side with accession numbers). The chip on the right hand side goes up aproximately one third of the edge. One accession number is on a pale circular sticker (sticker has a serrated edge). Roughly wedge shaped overall.
