Greywacke adze found at Patutahi. Light grey scuffed areas, darker grey polished areas. Some white foreign matter which appears to be splatters of paint. The surface would have once been polished but is now quite scuffed and scratched. The centre of the blade is chipped (over approximately half the blade width), this is more noticeable on the side with the accession number. The corners are rounded and the butt and blade are aproximately the same width.
