Tahanga basalt adze. The blade is polished, the rest of the piece is not. Deep shaping around the butt for hafting, like a bottle neck that flares out as it nears the blade end. Rectangular sellotape mark near the centre (closer to blade end) across the piece on a slight angle. The butt is not smooth.
