Argillite adze found at Manutuke. Chipped around the butt end on the obverse side and distal side, the original catalogue card states that this was intentional to aid hafting but as other areas are chipped this may be incorrect. Chip on one corner at blade end. Chipped on lateral edges. Accession number on twice on obverse side. Flat on reverse side, obverse side now has four planes, one at broken end, two angled lateral sides and the curved plane that runs from the blade up to the butt.
