Description
Clear glass rectangular bottle with screw type neck and white painted metal screw top lid, and original box. Impressed into the back of the bottle in raised lettering is: "BAXTER'S / LUNG PRESERVER / CHRISTCHURCH". Affixed to the front of the bottle is a white paper label printed in red and black and reads: "SHAKE THE BOTTLE / NET CONTENTS 56ml / BAXTERS / LUNG PRESERVER / THE POPULAR FAMILY MEDICINE / FOR COUGHS AND COLDS" and additional information about dosage and manufacturer details. The box is printed in red and black and contains comprehensive information about the product. The bottle is three quarters full of the liquid.

So is there anywhere in Nz you could still possibly buy it? This is the only medicine I can get down... If not what's the next best one that's simular to baxters.. Need urgently

I loved this as a kid.... wish it was still available. I'd have it mixed with boiling water and drink when it had cooled a little.... really helped easy the cough .... can't remember when I stopped using it??.....I think still as a teenager.... unsure but always enjoyed as a hot drink to calm an irrigated chest/cough
