Sled House
Description
Relocatable building known as the 'Sled House'.
Rectangular timber frame building with a wooden sled blades running under the length sides. The external is finished with timber cladding and a corrugated iron roof, laid over a pre-dating shingle roof. A 'Z'-frame door at one end, with two light double hung windows along the right hand side and a large fireplace, fitted with fireplace surround but no mantle, positioned mid-way along the left hand side wall. The interior of the house is divided at about three-quarters distance with a panelled timber partition and door. Exposed beams without a ceiling.
The interior features the original light blue/green/grey lead based paint.
