Upholstered foot stool and child's toy storage chest, constructed from a timber cheese crate. The 12-sided, lidded timber crate is covered with a removable floral fabric cover which reveals the canvas covered crate with rear-hinged lid. The underside of the lid is stamped in black "[...?partial] / NEW ZEALAND / FULL CREAM CHEESE". The base of the crate features four rounded metal feet and a black stamped label "CRATE NO. 206 / NUHAKA / NEW ZEALAND PRODUCE / REG. NO. 1344 / NEW ZEALAND / 138 LBS. / NET / FULL CREAM CHEESE".
