Lady's jacket circa1810: Black, boldly embroidered lace. Lace and embroidered trim around neck, front edges and cuffs. Lace and trim on neck and front edges coming away in places. No fastenings. Loose sleeves and cuffs. Seam down centre back. Belonged to Mrs John Forbes, mother of Mrs MG Naismith and grandmother of Mrs Douglas Blair (donor). c.1810.
