Description
Candle holder / Sconce: Ceramic plate in a brass mount. The brass mount encircles the plate with a faux bamboo pattern. At the top of the brass mount is a moulded three petalled decorative bow. At the back of the bow is a horizontal bracket with a hole in the end, through which the sconce is hung to the wall. At the bottom of the mount is a bust of Pan. Emanating from the top of his head are two curved horns / arms, at the end of which are cups to hold candles. The ceramic plate has a brilliant blue border, and inside that floral decorations in pinks, yellows and greens. In the centre of the plate, the backing is filled with silver, on top of which is a red headed robin. No makers marks.
