Candleholder with detachable wax guard. Scalloped and decorated edges, removable wax catcher. Silver plated, faceted, beaded rim, decorative scrolled handle. Upright centre candle stand featuring acanthus leaves on base, leading upwards to bulbous, moulded top and detachable wax guard. Stamped on centre of base "WARRANTED / QUADRUPLE PLATE / [set within belt border surrounding an upright anchor and rope] HOMAN MFG. COMPANY / MADE IN U.S.A. / 23 25 / SPECIAL / [image of beaker and hammer] H / METAL".
