Affixed to the side of the bottle is a yellow, black and gold themed label with the words: "GOLD TOP / DRAUGHT / Bottled in New Zealand by / NEW ZEALAND / BREWERIES / LIMITED / GISBORNE / BE 31 ER". Impressed around the base of the bottle in raised lettering is: "THIS BOTTLE IS THE PROPERTY OF THE ASSOCIATED BOTLLERS CO LTD NZ". Impressed onto the base of the bottle in raised figures is: "1962". On the top of painted red and white metal cap is: "NZB / NEW ZEALAND BREWERIES LIMITED / Brewers to the Nation".
