Medicine bottle: clear aqua tinted glass rectangular bottle with cork type neck. Impressed into the bottom of the bottle in a raised circle is: "S". Affixed to the side of the bottle is a white paper label printed in brown which reads: "E. D. SMITH, PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMIST, Manager / FORMALDEHYD. / MEDICAL HALL, GISBORNE". There are two words handwritten in black ink at the top of the label but it is indecipherable.
