Evening gown: early 1960s short evening dress. Dark blue satin with tulip skirt; lace motifs, now slightly discoloured, handstitched on front of bodice and skirt by donor. Hem reinforced on inside with black tape. Tailor's paper at inside seams, some visible at hem. Scattered white marks, mainly on back of skirt.
