Description
Black taffeta and cream lace bodice. Embroidered black taffeta to 3/4 sleeve, cream lace below that to wrist, trimmed with black velvet around cuff. Lace bib and high boned neck also with velvet trim, boning now partially broken. Lace bib behind v-shaped collar give impression of blouse underneath. V at front centre waist. Centre front hook and eye fastening. Bow detail at lower back and rosette detail at lower front. Discolouration of lace, small hole and stain centre front. Some tears to taffeta at front where it meets lace. Faux buttons on waist are worn.
